Surabaya, 22 March 2025 – Wyndham Surabaya City Centre hosted the ‘Glow the Earth – Do-it-Yourself (DIY) Glow in the Dark’ event to celebrate Earth Hour 2025, where guests and staff joined together to make their own glow-in-the-dark artworks. The fun started for participants during the lights-off session starting at 8.30pm, where artworks were crafted on glass cups decorated with eco-friendly materials such as phosphor water-based paint and recycled components. “Each piece of art can be taken home as a decoration or a reminder that caring is the first step toward sustainability,” said Rachmat Zulkarnain, Hotel Manager of Wyndham Surabaya. “For us, Earth Hour isn’t just a celebration, it serves as inspiration to drive positive change for our environment,” he added.
